Expressing Yourself Through Words and Art
The Georgi on the Battenkill in Shushan is offering a 5 session writing and illustrating program for teens, ages 12-16, The course is scheduled for Monday through Friday, from June 25th to June 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Each morning and afternoon, writer/instructor Irene Baldwin and artist/instructor Marjory Ridler will encourage and guide students in the illustration of various forms of writing including haiku, poetry, essays, and short stories. Each student will create a booklet that will showcase his or her writings and art produced during the workshop.
Offered through a grant from LARAC, the registration fee is $75.00 per participant. Scholarships are available, if requested. To register, email info@the georgi.com, attention, Irene Baldwin. Phone 518-854-3773 to leave a message or to request more information.
