Come to The Georgi and enjoy the Hubbard Hall Irish Dancers Sunday, September 27th at 4 pm. This event had been scheduled for July but the endless rain forced us to reschedule. The Hubbard Hall Irish Dancers are a family dance school, led by Darcy may of Greenwich., where mothers, daughters, sisters and sometimes brothers all dance and learn together while keeping cultural tradition alive. Their dances may include jigs, reels, slip jigs, and hornpipe; incorporating traditional Irish dances, set dances, and ceili dances with original choreography. The Dancers will include 20-30 children of all ages and abilities and will be accompanied by a 5+ piece band (at LEAST Bliss and Robbie McIntosh: fiddle and bass; Mitch Throop: guitar; Jerry Jenkins: tin whistle; Greg Edinger: bodran).
